How to Participate in Feel2001 =Earth Day Photo Gallery=

a) What is Feel2001??

Various kinds of events celebrating Earth Day 2001 will be held all around the world, however, those people who will participate in such events cannot see how each event will be like. It is true that there will be Earth Day celebration in even the other side of world; they hardly feel that all of them celebrate the same Earth Day 2001.

              "Feel 2001" enables Earth Day activists a sense of togetherness by providing the vision of Earth Day 2001 via the Internet.

              "Feel 2001" shows photos of Earth Day events around the world and the voice messages from Earth Day activists.

b) Who organized "Feel2001"?

              ASAP21(Action for Sustainable Asia Pacific 21), a Japanese environmental non-profit organization, organized the website with cooperation of Earth Day Network. ASAP21 was established in 2000, committed to promoting lasting environmental preservation activities that utilize the pan-Asian network established during Earth Day 2000. c) How can I participate in Feel2001?

              All you have to do is to send your Earth Day photos and voice messages as attachments the following address. Please note that the format style of photos is "JPEG." And voice messages is "WAV."

              When sending your photos, please let us know the following information, too.

1)    Event Name

2)    Caption (optional)

3)    Organization Name

4)      Country/ City

d) Would you like to CHAT with Earth Day activists around the world?

              We also set up "Earth Day Live Chatroom" on top of "Feel2001". You can go to the chatroom by simply clicking the link called "Earth Day Live Chatroom" located at bottom of the top page. Then enter your login name and join the chatroom!!

e) How often will the website be updated?

              ASAP21 volunteers are well ready for uploading your photos on the website 24 hours a day during 4/20 19:00 to 4/23 19:00 (Japan time). During that time, your photos will appear on the website in no time after your sending e-mails.

              Before and after that period, your photos and messages would be uploaded during ASAP21 office hours, which is, 10:00 to 18:00 (again, Japan time).

f) Until when can I see the website?

              The website will be seen by the end of 2001.

g) For mass media use

              When you would like to use the photos and messages on the website, please make sure to contact with the organization originally sending the materials before using them. ASAP21 is not responsible for any use of materials without authorization of original senders.
